It was like a reunion right out of the pages of Mpls.St.Paul Magazine at the Maiden Minnesota event--this month's "Custom Made" covergirl Joy Teiken and fellow "Custom Made" star Molly Woodland of Apiary, stylemaker Kendra Lewis of Bebe Babble, the Hollywood Tape ladies, Penny Larson Munson, the Foat yoga sisters, Nelle handbags, not to mention numerous other artisans and businesswomen who have graced the pages of Mpls.St.Paul. All were peddling their fantastic wares to support Free Arts Minnesota, and guests of Maiden were treated to a killer swag bag, a glass of wine, and the chance to score special discounts from these fabulous vendors.

StyledLife Third Anniversary Party

Why: To celebrate StyleLife's gorgeous new flagship store, it's third anniversary, and a visit from NY-based designer, Toi.

It's hard to believe it had been three years since I went to the opening of the small-ish StyledLife store at Gaviidae Common, and owner Kevin Quinn has accomplished quite a bit in that short time! The store has moved on up to the Galleria, tripling its space, and, of course, its offerings. The store celebrated with a week's worth of activities, capping it all off with a in-store visit from designer Zang Toi and goodies for celebratory shoppers. The American Culinary Federation Minneapolis Chefs Chapter (ACF) and Partnership Resources, Inc. (PRI) are proud to present the 1st annual Taste of Art, an event bringing the artistic talents of these two organizations together for an evening of incredible food and beautiful art in a festive and fun atmosphere. Proceeds will go to the ACF's culinary scholarship fund and PRI programming. PRI is a nonprofit agency serving adults with developmental disabilities which provides supported employment, cultural enrichment, recreation, and volunteering opportunities to clients.

Taste! at TCF Bank Stadium

What: Mpls.St.Paul's second annual Taste Event.
Who: More than 1,800 people who came out to see the new TCF Bank Stadium and taste test food from 30 restaurants and more than 200 wines!
Where: TCF Bank Stadium
When: September 25-26

It was love at first site for the guests of Taste, who not only got to roam the new TCF Bank Stadium, a luxury many Minnesotans may not have for years to come, but were privy to VIP club rooms, suites, and even tour of the Goph's locker room. It was all part of Mpls.St.Paul's two-day Taste event. Aside from bites from 30 top TC restaurants--Asian chicken salad from 20.21, sushi from Seven, and super delish meatloaf sliders with cornbread from Cowboy Slims--there were tours of the stadium that took you right down to the field, music from Tim Mahoney, demonstrations from top-notch foodies like 112 Eatery's Isaac Becker and our own Beth Dooley, and special appearances from U of M coaches. And then, of course, there was the wine! Whether they came for Friday night's gala benefit or Saturday, which was packed with demonstrations, seminars, and celeb guests, everyone had a fantastic time!
