More than 150 food lovers celebrated at the Mpls.St.Paul Magazine Pre-VIP brunch for the inaugural Charlie Awards-a new Twin Cities event that recognizes the exceptional contributions that our Twin Cities metro area food and restaurant industry make to ensure a diverse, vibrant and creative Twin Cities lifestyle and economy.

Guests enjoyed food prepared by culinary students from The Art Institute International, Hennepin Technical College, Le Cordon Bleu and St. Paul College—plus a make your own Bloody Mary bar. Jazz singer Rhonda Laurie entertained the crowd. Mpls.St.Paul Magazine Food & Dining editor Stephanie March, Charlie Awards founder Sue Zelickson and Executive Director of Second Harvest Heartland Rob Zeaske addressed the crowd.
