Why: Because, to borrow a famous line, girls just wanna have fun!

Who needs to spend $400 on a dress and three hours primping for a fun night out with the girls? Shopping, yummy apps, cocktails, entertainment, a few local celebs—this wasn’t just any pajama party! You gotta love the concept. The pajama party, now in its second year, invites ladies of all ages to gather their girlfriends for a night of kicking back and enjoying the company of other women—and a few hunky guys who were later auctioned off during a bachelor’s auction.

The guys were all part of the One Man competition, which explained why One Man founder Scott Mayer was crashing the party. I also spotted Robyne Robinson, and Kevyn Burger emceed the evening.

There were also plenty of activities—my girlfriends chose a scary-accurate palm reading and a chair massage, and, as you will see from the pics, plenty of photo ops. If you really want to enjoy the party next year, I would suggest buying a “suite” during the VIP party. The seating areas are big enough for six to eight ladies, there are great giftbags, and servers bring yummy luxuries like gourmet cheese and cracker plates right to your table. One warning—guys are allowed at the party, so make sure you are wearing the appropriate pjs for your comfort level.
